Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the produce come from?

We try to have at least 50% of the items in each weeks bin will come from local farmers. For variety we include items that do not grow in this region, such as citrus fruit. This will vary by season.

How do we know what we are getting?

The weekly bin contents are posted on the website by Monday afternoon. You can also call us at 800 463-5602.

Do you do substitutions?

Yes, in most cases. If you do not want a certain item in the weekly bin, you can double up on another item in the bin or call us and see what substitutions are available. We need at least 24 hours notice for any substitutions.

What days do you deliver?

Your delivery day depends on your location. Check out our delivery area map to see when we are in your area. Your delivery will arrive between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. There is some room for flexibility with delivery days.

Do you deliver on holidays?

Yes, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas. For those holiday weeks, we will adjust our delivery schedule to insure everyone gets their delivery for the week.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes. You will earn a $15 credit for each new customer you refer to us when your referee receives their second delivery. Be sure that the person you refer includes your name when they sign up online, or gives us your name to if they sign up by phone.

Why use Eden’s Organics instead of the grocery store?

Convenience and freshness!  We come right to your door.  No lines at the store, no traffic issues, and no worries about parking.  Our produce does not sit on the store shelves, it comes right to your house from the source.

Does it save me money?

Yes.  If you went to the store and bought the same amount of items that you would get in our bin, you would probably spend a little more.  We cut out the middleman and pass the savings on to you.  When you factor in your time and the money spent on gas and impulse shopping your savings really add up.

If I’m going out of town and need to suspend an order what do I do?

We require that any order suspensions or cancellations be done 2 business days before your scheduled delivery day.  The best way to do so is through the contact us page on our website.   Put ‘suspend’ or ‘cancel’ in subject line and state your name address and phone number in the email and how many weeks deliveries you need canceled.  You will receive a confirmation email the next business day.

What is a business day?

Any weekday that does not fall on a national holiday.

Do I need to be at my home when my produce arrives?

No.  We will leave it on your doorstep (or where you request) in a covered bin.   

Will I get the same items every week?

The contents of the bin will vary based on seasonal availability and quality.  The bin contents will vary a little from one week to the next.

Do you sell conventional produce as well?

No, we only sell organic produce.

Are there any fees?

NO!  There are no fees or deposits required.  Delivery service is FREE.  If we notice 3 or more unreturned bins we will contact you to remind you to leave them out for the driver to pick up on your next delivery day.  If the bins are not returned, there will be a $6.00 charge per bin to the credit card we have on file.  

Can I prepay for more than one week of service at a time?

Yes, we offer a monthly billing option.  You will be billed the first business day of each month.

I live in a secured apartment building, can you still deliver to me?

Yes.  There are a few options.  One option is providing us an entrance key or code (with permission from management) so we can drop the produce off at your door.  Another option is provide us with an alternative location, such as a neighbor or friend that lives within a half mile of your address, who will allow us to leave it with them or on their doorstep.  If we have any questions about your situation we will notify you after sign up.
